Effective Learning Techniques
Implementing set learning techniques helps a child attain success. We believe at London English Tuition the students well being is important so the learning process should be enjoyable and not forced.
Lessons are interactive and fun; children are encouraged to answer questions, whether they are right or wrong and weekly tests in vocabulary in addition to regular testing, ensures a child learns from their mistakes and progresses.
Student Focus in a Group Setting
It is vital that children enjoy their lessons and feel at ease to participate in class as this helps drive them to do well.
This is why having classes in small friendly groups allows students to learn effectively as well as to make firm friends within their groups.
These classes range from Years 4-7. Starting in Year 4 is ideal, as children benefit from gradual learning through to Year 7.
Frequent Assignment Activities
Students are given weekly homework to supplement extensive work completed in class. This is hugely beneficial not only to consolidate learning, but also to ensure the syllabus for both 11 Plus and Private schools are completed well in advance of examinations and plenty of exam paper practice follows.
Homework is marked with detailed feedback and advice is given if further action needs to be taken to improve a child's performance.
